I can feel it in my dreams The deep joy that encircles me All in my body I feel it The feeling is so scarce in my life I wonder, "Is it what I think it is?"

The feeling once so strong Now in my life, it is gone It's hard to remember the feeling That once I knew so well.

Will it ever come back? Will I ever feel that joy again? Will I ever know it again? Or is it gone forever?

Like the leaves blown away by the wind, Love is lost.

I will watch for it to return But for now I feel it only in my dreams.
