Long Distance Relationship
Story of the Week
I got a job at a library in my hometown about 13 months ago. After a few days of being there at the library, I was introduced to my soon-to-be girlfriend ..........Galina. This is really annoying to write on so, I'll make my story short.
We wound up going ouit and we had a couple hard times, but staying together has maded me as happy as I could possibly be. The problem was, before I met her, I had applied to all my colleges which happened to be outside of NY state where we are from. Actually right near Albany. I wound up deciding on the University of Maryland at College Park, and I like it, but it's so sad without her here. I talk to her everyday for as long as I possibly can. I send her letters every so often and she does the same for me.
It's really hard with her not around for me to see everyday and I miss her a lot. During parent weekend, she came down here with my family and I got to be with her all weekend, parent-free. I missed her sooooooooooooo much and I realized that staying together was the best choice we ever made because although we didn't go out too much during those two days, I can happily say that I had the best time of my entire life.
I missed her soooo much and she missed me the same and because we both care for each other so much the time we spend together is 10000000 times better than the couples who see each other everyday for granted. The point is that couples need to realize who they have in front of them and if they don't appreciate it then all the things that they love about their significant other could disappear without warning. We love each other more than any couple I've ever heard of. I know that we are both young, but that doesn't stop me from shooting high.
I want to marry my girlfriend and I know that in my heart. That is the main reason our relationship has been so successful thus far: we love each other with all of our hearts, and we put all of our heart into our relationship. People say they wouldn't do what I'm doing because they "can't make a commitment like that." Well my girlfriend means just about everything to me and I want nothing more than to be with her for the rest of my life.
Some people want to be rich or famous, or to be president. I guess I'm a simple man because if I have Galina, then I'll be just fine.
