Long Distance Relationship

A lot of boys my age are always searching and looking for that "one girl." Ever since I started dating, i've been looking for the type of girl I can bring home and introduce to my family and friends. I've always ended up with girls who try to take advantage of me or girls who are unfaithful. I was at a point in which i thought that all girls were the same, until somebody proved me wrong.
I've known Tosin for almost all of my life. She lives in Nigeria but she visits my family and I in Baltimore, MD every summer. She's the daughter of my mom's best friend. I never really communicated with her because i've always been shy, but this summer was different. She came to my house to spend 4 weeks, but i wasn't really excited at first because i thought it would be like every other summer. I also thought that she would be like every other girl that i've been with, but i began to notice that she was different. She's so nice and timid, her personality always brought warmth to my heart. I'm a pretty rough person, and I fight all the time because I go to military school, so i didn't think that we would be compatible together, but everytime I was around her i was such a gentleman. I spent a lot of time with her and took her places to show her a good time, then we eventually fell in love.
Tosin really lifted my spirits this summer because my x-girlfriend had really hurt me emotionally. I wished that Tosin would never have to leave, but before i knew it, the summer was coming to an end.
The last couple days that Tosin was at my house were the saddest days i've ever had in my life. I knew that I wouldn't be able to see her again until December, because I was going to Nigeria for Christmas. The day she left I promised to call her as much as possible, stay faithful, and continue tolove her as she loved me. We call and email each other everyday, but it hurts so much to have her so far away from me. I miss her so much and I hope that one day we can get married because if I don't, God knows how long it will take to to find another girl like her
