Long Distance Relationship
Story of the Week
My name is Dustin. I met my girlfriend Lauren about nine months ago in a teen chatroom. We went out for about a week or two and then after awhile figured that our long distance relationship wasn't going to work. So we broke up for about three month or less.
We didn't talk as much as we did when we were going out, because she had a new boyfriend. I gave her a call one night and we started talking. We both started feeling the fire for each other in our hearts again, she told me that she didn't realize how much she missed me. Two or three day's after that she broke up with her boyfriend and we started going back out.
We have now been going out for about six months straight, my longest relationship ever. Me and Lauren both love each other and realize that our relationship might not work, but we also know that the six months we have spent together in a long distance relationship have been the best relationship we both has ever had.
I have not yet read the "Loving Your Long-Distance Relationship" books but what I have read about them and the responses from other couples in long distance relationships that have read the books, I think these books should be with every relationship that is long distance.
Laurens 17th birthday is coming up in a month and the "Loving Your Long-Distance Relationship" book series is the best gift I can think of to send her. Im also going to buy me a series so we can both read them and hopfully never let the fire of love that burns in our hearts go out again.
P.S. Mr. Blake I know this is alot to ask for but if you were to put what I have written about Lauren in one of your "Loving Your Long-Distance Relationship" books she would feel very very special and that would mean alot to me.
