Long Distance Relationship
Story of the Week
This probably won't be the most romantic thing anyone has ever read and I'm sure it won't touch the heart of everyone that reads it...but I'm telling my story because of what it means to me. I met Josh in June in a chat room I used to go into all the time. We hit it off totally right away, he talked to me in a way i had'nt be talked to before and i automatically clicked with him. When I got offline that night I couldn't stop thinking about him. We talked for three weeks on the internet everyday for hours. I wanted to bring up him calling me but I didn't want him to think I was wierd for wanting him too.
I finally got the nerve and a day later he had a calling card. He called me and I swear I'll never forget the way it made me feel hearing his voice for the first time. He made my heart beat and he made me babble in a way that wasn't normally like me at all. I know this sounds like every other long distance internet realationship but to me its so much more.
We talked for hours until the phone card ran out, and i don't remember ever being more dissipointed when it was gone. He bought another one the following day and the day after and soon we were talking everyday for hours. I started falling in love and so did he over almost a month's period of time. Most people think teenagers never mean it when they say "I love you," but in some ways I think teenage love is even better than falling in love when your older. You don't have the stress of dealing with daily things and it's just kind of innocent to me.
But back to the story. We fell in love and on July 3 we started our long distance relationshop officially. We talk for hours everyday, and i told him everything but one thing. I had lied about my picture and hadn't said anything for a month. I knew i had to tell him but i was so scared. I told him and his reaction was diffrent than i thought...he still loved me for me as much as he did before.
I honestly don't EVER remember being happier or crying so hard in my life. Since then everything has been perfect. I have free long distance on my home phone and we talk for hours every day. We tell each other our dreams and hopes and we laugh and joke together.
Since the day i meet him i haven't been able to forget him and almost 6months later i love him more than i've ever loved anything in my life. He's coming to see me December. Wish me luck!
