Long Distance Relationship
Story of the Week
In August 2002, I went to go and visit my grandmother in the Bronx in New York City. I was 15 at the time. I thought that a lot of the guys there were very attractive.
One day I was heading out the door to get some professional pictures taken of me and my cousins I see this gorgeous man walk out of the apartment diagonally from my gradmother's.
So I said to myself "Damn WHO IS THAT!" I had to know who he was. So we were both going down the stairs and he was in front of me and he says "God bless you ma." In NYC this is a compliment. So after that day we would spot eachother say "hello" and look at eachother like we wanted eachother.
So one night it was raining outside and everyone (including him) was in front of the building. That night we started to talk and it felt like we had known eachother for years.
On August 6,2002 we went to the park together and he asked me how we were going to do this. I said "there's e-mail, phone, letters." Thats when we officially started dating.
That night we had our first date. Now 4 years later we're going strong. We plan to get married, and have a family of our own. This is for you Peter Sanchez, the love of my life.
